Provocative and sensual 50 years after its premiere, the classic film by the ever restless Jerzy Skolimowski masterfully captures the uncertain atmosphere that followed the sexual liberation of the '60s, in a hallucinatory erotic fantasy that battles on the verge of harsh reality.
Synopsis
Mike, an introverted 15-year-old, gets a job in the public baths of a London suburb, where he becomes obsessed with his beautiful colleague Susan, a 22-year-old girl who knows how to handle men. Although she's engaged, Mike will do everything he can to sabotage her relationship, going so far as to stalk her. But the closer he gets to the object of his desire, the more he dives into the depths of psychosis.
