Synopsis
New York, 1920. Max Perkins is a successful publisher who has discovered extraordinary writers such as Hemingway and Fitzgerald. When a book written by Thomas Wolfe falls into his hands, Perkins recognizes that, despite the chaotic writing, it’s a masterpiece written by a genius. They work together, analyzing every detail, often forgetting about time or their families. The publication of the book is triumphant, but the author, dazzled by fame, starts feeling superior to everyone around him.
