Synopsis

A writer returns to his hometown, Cognac, for the first time in 35 years. At first he is worried about being thrust back into the childhood he abandoned all those years earlier, but things change when he meets Lucas. The young man turns out to be the son of the author's first love, a "character" who appears in all his novels. Suddenly, all those distant memories come rushing back to him.
