The leader of the Italian opposition is struck by panic at the prospect of actually being in charge. He switches places with his charismaticly, popular twin brother, in an ingenious political satire with chameleon Tony Servillo playing a delightful double role.

Synopsis

The head of the main opposition party in Italy is unable to withstand the pressure of the Italian election period. One night he decides to disappear. The party is completely disorganized; his assistant and his wife are trying to understand his disappearance and find a solution. The politician has a twin brother, an intelligent and depressed philosopher. When he secretly replaces his brother, he experiences unprecedented manifestations of admiration by the voters and the media.
