One of the most notable entries in the thriving Spanish thriller wave, and a true descendant of the American school of its kind, this movie combines two impressive performances alongside images of an increasingly helpless society.
Synopsis
Madrid, 2011. Hottest August in the history of the Spanish capital. A million and a half Christians are waiting for the Pope and security forces are closely supervising the city. The celebratory atmosphere is violently interrupted by a series of awful crimes: elderly women are found murdered, with signs of sexual assault.
