Synopsis

Elvira works as an obituary writer for a small-town newspaper, paid by the piece. When deaths begin to dwindle, she takes matters into her own hands, killing off the town’s more οbnoxious residents to keep the assignments coming. Things grow even messier when she becomes emotionally entangled with a crime reporter.
