Synopsis

In the middle of the World Judo Championships, Iranian athlete Leila and her coach Mariam receive an ultimatum from the Islamic Republic ordering Leila to fake an injury and lose, lest she be labeled a traitor to the state. With her own and her family's freedom at stake, Leila is faced with an impossible choice: comply with the regime as her coach insists or fight for the gold.
