Somewhere between documentary and fiction, the remarkable Golden Athena award-winning Tatiana Huéso weaves a stunning story about the things that cling to the soul, the refuge provided by those around us and the vertigo in the face of life. A story for what we call growing up.
Synopsis
In the remote village of El Echo in northern Mexico, children are forced to care for their parents and sheep. While frost and drought punish the land, the children learn to understand death, illness and love with every act, command and silence of their parents. One of them, however, will rebel against this strict perpetuation of harsh discipline.
