8 Oscar nominations and a Screenplay award. A phenomenal Ralph Fiennes leads a delightful ensemble cast in a suspenseful, religion-inflected procedural where the election of a Pope has nothing to envy from the scheming of Game of Thrones. Directed by Edward Berger (All Quiet on the Western Front).

Synopsis

After the unexpected death of the beloved Pope, Cardinal Lawrence (Ralph Fiennes) is appointed to oversee the secretive proceedings. As the most influential leaders of the Catholic Church from around the world gather behind firmly closed doors and under strict confidentiality, Lawrence finds himself at the center of a growing conspiracy and uncovers a secret that could shake the very foundations of the Church.
