Why we chose it
Two of the three girls at its centre fall in love, the third keeps chasing pleasure, and over three stormy Fridays on the edge of adulthood none of their lives stays the same. Alli Haapasalo, who directed it, puts it bluntly: when you’re in your teens, any Friday can change your life.
Synopsis
Mimmi and Rönkkö are hungry for a life where things actually happen, while Emma has given hers to figure skating and won’t let anything stand between her and the podium. Three Fridays are enough to throw everything into confusion. Love strikes two of them, and Rönkkö sets out to find a feeling she has never had.
