Why we chose it
George A. Romero, who made the original “Night of the Living Dead”, loved this punk rom-zom-com so much that he cast its makers, Wright and Pegg, as zombies in his next film in the series. It turns out a zombie comedy can become a modern classic, and this one will have you crying with laughter.
Synopsis
Shaun sells televisions on the outskirts of London, spends every evening in the same pub and lives with Ed, who does even less with his life. His girlfriend, Liz, leaves him because nothing ever changes, and the very next day the streets are full of zombies. Shaun has a plan, though: grab his mum, then Liz, and sit it all out at the pub.
