Synopsis
Paris, 1943. During the German occupation, Django Reinhardt, a Gypsy guitar virtuoso, is at the pinnacle of his career. Parisians enthusiastically dance to his music every night, yet Gypsies in Europe are constantly persecuted by the Nazis. When the German authorities ask Django to perform in Berlin, he suspects danger. He decides to escape to Switzerland with his wife and his mother. But their escape is proved to be more complicated than they imagined.
