Synopsis
Mardin, 1915. A young blacksmith is violently separated from his family. Years later, having survived the genocide, he discovers that his daughters are still alive, and his life's mission becomes to find them again. He travels from the deserts of Mesopotamia to Havana and the pastures of North Dakota. During his journey, he will experience people’s capacity for kindness, but also disdain and brutality.
