Synopsis

Beecham House, a retirement home for musicians, is running out of money, and this year its future hangs on the gala the residents stage every year for Verdi’s birthday. Reg, Wilf and Cissy once sang the quartet from “Rigoletto” together. Now the fourth member of that quartet has just moved in, and she happens to be Reg’s ex-wife.
