Tilos weddings, of crucial significance to the history of LGBTQI+ rights in our country, are now the subject of a documentary that befits them nd immortalized with nostalgia and emotion, as a precious testimony for future generations.
Synopsis
In 2008, the mayor of Tilos agreed to officiate the first gay and lesbian weddings in Greece. The film follows the story of these two civil ceremonies through on-site footage complemented with scenes from the gay pride event of the same year, press interviews, and other protests related to the issue.
