Synopsis

Lia, a retired teacher, has promised to find out what happened to her lost niece, Tekla. When Lia learns from a neighbor, Achi, that Tekla may have left their Georgian homeland to live in Turkey, Lia and Achi set out together to find her. In Istanbul, they meet Evrim, a lawyer fighting for transgender rights. As Leah and Achy walk through the city's alleys, they feel Tekla closer than ever.
